TITAN rights what goes wrong. When the Cougar Ace, a 55,328 GT car carrier loaded with over 4,700 new vehicles, was disabled at sea in July in the northern Pacific, TITAN was mobilized to keep the ship from sinking. She was dangerously listing at nearly 80 degrees to port. The USCG rescued 23 crew members. Then TITAN dispatched Crowley tugs Sea Victory and Gladiator to tow the Cougar Ace into a sheltered area of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, where the TITAN salvage team used pumps to dewater and stabilize the ship, bringing it upright so that it could be safely returned to its owners. You may never need us, but if disaster strikes, remember to call TITAN for response and results: 954-545-4143 (24 hours).
