GREAT SHIPS of 2007 3,500 cu. m./hr. are provided with three isolation valves each, both on suction and discharge sides for each pump, and double valve isolation for cargo stripping eductors (two of 500 cu. m./hr. each) on suction and discharge lines. Automatic VAC stripping system also provided for each pump. Fixed programmable tank cleaning machines (ScanJet) are provided, with sensor for remote monitoring in the central control room. Tank cleaning system are provided with all ancillary equipment. Additional fixed tank cleaning machines are provided for effective cleaning of all areas of cargo tanks during crude oil washing. Remote hydraulic operated cargo and ballast valves. Critical valves are proportional control with their position indicated on mimic diagram (gauges) in the CCR. To enhance cargo system monitoring, additional user licenses for loading computer are installed on the master's computer and ship's office computer. Independent venting of cargo provided for each cargo tank with two (2) high velocity PV valves (Presvac). The cargo and ballast tanks are coated with the best available epoxy coating from International paint (PCWT Notation) with increased thickness overall. An automatic controlled ICCP system provided for protection of underwater hull including rudder and propeller. Two D-type Mitsubishi auxiliary boilers, and one EGE with automatic and manual soot blowing system and additional TIAH at exhaust gas inlet for early warning in case of high temperature. All essential pumps in engine room have 100 percent redundancy. All main coolers are plate type with 20 percent fouling margin and 100 percent redundancy, sea water cooler plates are of titanium material. Pollution prevention system includes two independent ODME control systems, two OWS (one static and one dynamic) with bilge holding tank of 30 cu. m. capacity, one sewage holding tank, automatic VEC system, one incinerator for solid and liquid waste, dedicated low sulphur HFO and MDO tanks provided for SOx. All engines are NOx complaint. Bilge Cascade tank designed, fabricated and installed in engine room for primary separation of bilge water to ensure enhanced arrangement against pollution. Latest electrical equipment is provided for safe operation/navigation with full UMS facilities. Ample electrical power generated by three (3) generators with fully computerized power management system, integrated to CAMS and heavy load blocking. Protection rating of equipment in engine room is IP 44, Accommodation - IP22 and deck/weather exposed areas - IP56. Motors of each pump with minimum power reserve of 10 percent for the entire discharge range of the pump. Stator winding type space heater provided for motor of 30 kW and above. UPS provided for critical navigation and communication equipment. Modern communication system are provided to cover all locations and includes Satcom, telephone and sound powered telephone. Ship based computer network provided system interfaced to Inmarsat-F. The engine room is spacious and neatly arranged which houses main engine, auxiliary engines, three main air compressors, two service air compressor, one GE starting air compressor and one emergency GE starting air compressor. Two fresh water generators are provided, each with a capacity of 40 tons/day. One hot loop system is provided for fresh water production without operating main engine. The wheelhouse is modern, ergonomically designed and equipped with modern equipment to provide safe and easy navigation. It has three ARPA radars, automatic identification system (AIS), Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Ship security alert system (JRC and Purple finder), Independent off course alarm and one Sat-C and one Sat-F (Fleet-77) equipment, three sets dual DGPS receivers. Echo sounder with two transducers, two Gyro compasses, Fully Adaptive autopilot. Wheelhouse front windows are heated type.
