Technical Sales Engineer Computational Engineering Software and Services Texas and Oklahoma
CD-adapco, a pioneer and leader in the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) industry, is looking for a technical sales engineer for Texas and Oklahoma with special focus on the Oil and Gas market. CAE, and CFD in particular, is growing at a phenomenal rate. An industry research firm estimates CAE spending is about 25% of total spending for the Product Lifecycle Managemeent market, growing faster than CAD sales. The Oil and Gas market is a rapidly emerging market in terms of demand for CFD analysis. We are looking for a technical sales engineer, ideally located in the Houston area, but other major cities in Texas will be considered. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and established contact base in the territory with experience selling CAE, and preferably CFD, solutions. You will be responsible for following up enquiries from Marketing and Inside Sales, prospecting and penetrating accounts in the Oil and Gas and other industries, hosting demand generation workshops supported by the company, supporting trade shows and, most importantly, achieving sales targets and strategic goals. You will also be responsible for managing an installed base of accounts in a range of industries to ensure customer satisfaction and the renewal and growth of those contracts
